Description: The Menshikovsky Palace in Oranienbaum is a historical building located in the town of Lomonosov, near Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was built in the 18th century by Alexander Menshikov, a close associate of Peter the Great, as his summer residence. The palace is one of the few examples of early Russian Baroque architecture that survived the Siege of Leningrad during World War II. It is now a museum and a part of the Oranienbaum State Museum Reserve.
